Earning rewards is simple.

Qualifying for your Kasasa Cash or Kasasa Cash Back rewards automatically qualifies you for the highest Kasasa Saver rate too. To earn your rewards just do the following transactions and activities in your Kasasa Cash or Kasasa Cash Back account during each Monthly Qualification Cycle: 

  • Have at least 1 direct deposit or ACH debit transactions post and settle
  • Have at least 10 debit card purchases post and settle
  • Be enrolled in and agree to receive eStatements
  • Be enrolled in and log into online banking

And if you don’t meet these qualifications, don’t worry. Your Kasasa accounts are still free. You’ll also earn our base dividend rate on Kasasa Saver — and you can get right back to earning your full rewards the very next cycle that you qualify.

Kasasa Saver with Kasasa Cash:

*APY=Annual Percentage Yield. APYs accurate as of 02/01/2016. Rates may change after account is opened. For Kasasa Cash or Reward Checking, if qualifications are met each monthly qualification cycle: (1) Domestic ATM fees incurred during qualification cycle will be reimbursed up to $25 and credited to account on the last day of monthly statement cycle; (2) balances up to $25,000 receive APY of 2.05%; and (3) balances over $25,000 earn 0.30% dividend rate on the portion of the balance over $25,000, resulting in 2.05% - 0.65% APY depending on the balance. Per Reg DD, the blended rate is calculated on the assumption of $100,000 in account over cap. If qualifications are not met on Kasasa Cash all balances earn 0.05% APY. Qualifying transactions must post and settle to the Kasasa Cash or Reward Checking account during monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more banking days from the date transaction posts and settles in the account. The following activities do not count toward earning account rewards: ATM transactions, transfers between accounts, or debit-card transactions processed by merchants and received by State Employees Credit Union as ATM transactions. "Monthly Qualification Cycle" means a period beginning one day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. The advertised Kasasa Cash or Reward Checking APY is based on compounding dividends. Dividends earned in Kasasa Cash or Reward Checking automatically transferred to the Saver each statement cycle and does not compound. Actual dividend amount paid may be less than advertised Kasasa Cash APY. The Kasasa Saver APYs may be less than Kasasa Cash APYs. If qualifications in Kasasa Cash are met each monthly qualification cycle: (1) balances up to $25,000 in the Saver receive an APY of 0.75%; and (2) balances over $25,000 in the Saver earn 0.30% dividend rate on portion of balance over $25,000, resulting in 0.75% - 0.39% APY depending on the balance. Per Reg DD, the blended rate is calculated on the assumption of $100,000 in account over cap. If qualifications are not met on Kasasa Cash or Reward Checking, all balances in the Saver earn 0.05% APY. Transfers between accounts do not count as qualifying transactions. Kasasa Saver with Kasasa Cash Back:

When monthly qualifications are met, you will receive 3.00% cash back on debit card purchases that post and settle to the account during monthly qualification cycle up to a total cash back of $6 per monthly qualification cycle. Domestic ATM fees incurred using Kasasa Cash Back debit card during qualification cycle will be reimbursed up to $25 if qualifications are met within monthly qualification cycle. Qualifying transactions must post and settle to the account during the monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more banking days from the date transaction posts and settles in the account. The following activities do not count toward earning account rewards: ATM transactions, transfers between accounts, or debit-card transactions processed by merchants and received by State Employees Credit Union as ATM transactions. "Monthly Qualification Cycle" means a period beginning one day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one day prior to the close of the current statement cycle.
